Sometimes it can get hazardous to drive in a rainy season. That’s why we are here to provide you quick rainy season driving tips for 2018.

Driving Tips for Rainy Season

Slow Your Speed
When it rains, oil and grime on the pavement rise to the surface. Streets are slick and slippery, making it more difficult to get traction. When you drive slowly, a greater amount of the tire’s tread makes contact with the road, giving you better traction. Drive at a steady pace and avoid jerky movements when braking, accelerating or turning. Braking takes more time in rainy and snow season

Proper Equipment
Make sure your windshield wipers are working correctly.

Low Visibility in Rains
Make sure your wiper blades are in good condition. If you are using damaged blades then it may decrease the visibility in the rainy season instead of increasing it. Second use defrost function in your AC to clear the fog.
Keep your fog lights on.

Control Skidding
Since there is less traction there is a huge change of skidding in a rainy season. To control this you should make sure your brakes are even and tires are in good condition. Sudden braking and acceleration should be avoided.
